Born in a small seaside town in Oregon, Jessie moved to Alaska with her family in 1985. Since a child she has been interested in art and design. Graduating with her Associate degree in visual communication in Tempe, AZ, she landed a sweet job at PIP Printing in Anchorage and continued learning the ropes of offset printing, graphic design, and marketing skills for the next 4 years. As Jessie’s talent developed, she ventured from PIP to begin her own freelance graphic design business, working with companies like PIP Printing and several ad agencies on a regular basis.
During that gap there were other business ventures: a drive through espresso shop and eventually, a second espresso kiosk in a busy office building in Anchorage. She then was approached by PIP Printing in 2005 to return as their Graphic Department Manager. An offer she couldn’t refuse! After one year of juggling coffee beans and job tickets, it was time to move on and do her own thing with Trunk Design.
In that time, Jessie inherited a strong knowledge of printing and everything else that goes with it. These print skills are a valuable asset to her clients, because it helps save time and money. Her original creative mind is continually churning out new ideas and designs to meet her client’s expectations.
